I do love the idea of Captions and the automated process. However, I wish couple of things got improved, and hopefully you are working on it. First - the ability to extend the duration of individual words. Often, during the fast talk, crucial words get lost. It would be great to have them stay a little longer.
Second - few more text styles with narrow fonts. In a vertical video, long words extend beyond the video canvas, and there is no way of making them fit.
Thank you for developing such a great app.

Please ADD word timing to effects tab
M
Martin
Please add the ability to be able to make each word longer/shorter in the effect tab like in any video editor. I used PP and Davinci and both have easily editable lenghts just by dragging the corners of a text.
How it works now is really annoying and time consuming.

Captions Plugin for premier pro
R
Reeshav Bamrolia
It would be great to have a Captions plug-in for premiere pro so that us editors can directly edit and use all the features of Captions inside of premiere pro. It is a hassle to export clips from Premier pro then editing in Captions. Then if client gives revision, we have to revise in premier pro and then again edit and caption so it takes long.

SYNCHING - ADDING A SILENCE REGION IN CAPTIONS OUT OF SYNC
I
Iván González
Dear Captions.ai Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my utmost frustration with the current functionality of the Captions.AI application and to seek urgent assistance in resolving a critical issue I am facing.
As a user of Captions.AI, I rely heavily on its capabilities to add subtitles to my videos efficiently and accurately. However, I am encountering a significant problem that is hindering my workflow and causing immense frustration.
The issue at hand revolves around the syncing of captions within the application. While it is advertised that one can adjust the timing of individual words within correctly synced captions, the practical application of this feature has proven to be extremely cumbersome and impractical.
Specifically, when attempting to rectify a word that has been inaccurately synced, I find myself unable to do so without disrupting the entire sequence of subsequent words. The inability to isolate and correct timing issues within individual words effectively renders the editing process laborious and inefficient.
What exacerbates this issue is that a single misaligned word has a cascading effect on the entire sequence of captions, throwing the timing of subsequent words completely out of sync. This creates a domino effect where correcting one error leads to a chain reaction of misalignment throughout the entire video.
It is evident that the current system lacks a fundamental mechanism to address this issue efficiently. What I propose as a solution is the implementation of a feature that allows for the insertion of a "break," "rest," or "silence region" within the captions. This would provide users with the flexibility to adjust timing discrepancies without disrupting the synchronization of subsequent words.
By introducing such a feature, users like myself would be empowered to rectify timing issues seamlessly, thereby enhancing the overall user experience and efficiency of the application.
I urge you to prioritize the resolution of this issue as it is crucial to the functionality and usability of Captions.AI. Your prompt attention and assistance in addressing this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your understanding and anticipated cooperation. I look forward to a swift resolution to this pressing concern.
Warm regards

I found it impossible to change the time for a particular word on screen of the caption. It should be an easy fix.

Hi Richard! We now have the ability to import custom fonts!
As for how long the word is on screen, simply change the style and change the option to have the entire line appear on screen, rather than one word at a time. See "split words" here - https://help.captions.ai/docs/captions/styles

Yes, I think that is a crucial feature, especially now I have to pay and it is impossible to edit if the app did not catch any words. So annoying to not be able to edit the words and the length.
