For some reason you cannot trim the beginning, only the end of a clip

Well, I don't like gaps between phrases, provide a setting to delete the gaps in between phrases. The gaps can be filled by extending the duration of previous phrase.

I’d love to be able to widen the clips at the bottom to see the exact length of the video, rather than having a sliver.

Make it possible to edit which part of the video is showing, when utilizing the "fill screen" feature. This was possible before, but was removed in a recent update.

As it stands now if I want to use the ai editor for a video that’s longer than 1:50 I have to splice it then download it to my iOS device to put it together with canva. I wish it was a way to do all of that with captions ai. So I’m requesting a way to join a video after you splice it without having to use a software that has nothing to do with captions ai.

I would like to be able to eliminate useless clips AFTER recording all the takes when using the teleprompter feature. It is inconvenient to have to choose the best takes and discarding the worst ones while recording. Besides, you can easily forget to repeat a line and end up missing a part of the script when you think you are done.

Right now, When I film a face to camera advice video, i may have pauses and also repeat myself. I first have to manually edit out the pauses in CapCut. Render. Then bring into Captions

I would love to be able to upload my raw video to Captions, have Captions automatically remove the silent gaps and duplicate phrases (keep the last version of the phrase), then do an Ai Edit or add captions to the video.

First I'd like to thank you for your efforts, the platform you have is amazing and has helped me a lot as a content creator, Captions is still my #1 go to app to make my content better,

But here are my suggestions to make the user experience much better based on what i have been going through over the past few months

Desperately needs Undo and Redo function

I also experienced what looks like an overlay glitch effect that was added on top of the video, i could not find an option to remove it and it does not fit the video at all

The timeline moves automatically every time i try to adjust the framing of the video which is very annoying and makes fine-tuning the video a nightmare

There should be a way to trim or expand or at least split and join clips together because the cuts are not accurate to the scene

Finally cross platform access to projects between iOS and Desktop, anything i work on in Desktop does not show on iOS and vice versa, they need to be accessible on both ends
